Vaccine Safety

We know there is a lot of confusing or incorrect information out there about how safe and effective vaccines are. It’s not always easy to know what is true.

If you have questions or worries about vaccines, we encourage you to talk with your own/your child's healthcare provider. If you have an appointment at the Clay County Public Health Center immunization clinic, our registered nurses will gladly listen to and help answer your questions. They will explain things in a kind and respectful way.

Below are a few trusted resources we recommend. They include scientific studies that explain how vaccines work, how safe they are, and what risks, if any, come with certain vaccines.
