Rodgers Health Center, and Tri-County Mental Health.

When asked about skills and experience that make her a good board member, Ellermeier said, "I’ve served on the Board of Health for the past 12 years, including the past year as the Board President. Over these years, Clay County Public Health has accomplished so many good things that benefit our community such as our national accreditation, our numerous strong community partnerships, and together with the Northland Health Alliance, a strong community health improvement plan which identified a priority focus on mental health, nutrition, and transportation. I’m also a Registered Nurse who has worked in community health in Clay County for the past 17 years as the Director of Health Services for Liberty Public Schools. I can be trusted to support the missions in public health that include health promotion, health prevention and health protection for Clay County residents."

Ellermeier has lived in Clay County for 35 years and currently resides in Smithville. She loves to hike and bike on the many trails around Clay County, kayak in the local waters, shop at the wonderful farmer's markets, and frequent numerous local restaurants and shops.

Her favorite quote when thinking about public service? “We make a living by what we get, but we make a life by what we give.” - Winston Churchill
